Biddeford, Maine, The University of New England, an NCAA Division III member of the Conference of New England (CNE), is accepting applications for the position of Head Men’s and Women’s Tennis Coach. This position is a full-time, 12-month assignment reporting to the Director of Athletics. The Nor’easters feature a state-of-the art, on-campus facility on the Biddeford Campus, which is located just minutes from some of the most picturesque beaches in the region. Responsibilities include the direction of both the men’s and women’s tennis programs, the recruitment and development of student-athletes by fostering a culture that is inclusive and prioritizes a first-class NCAA Division III student-athlete experience, on-court coaching, supervision of coaching staff and budget management. Other responsibilities include a secondary administrative assignment within the Department of Athletics. A bachelor’s degree is required, while a master’s degree is preferred. Candidates should have 3-5 years of previous collegiate coaching experience, or a combination of education and professional experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired.
