Head Girls Soccer Coach / Social Studies Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to lead our head soccer program and contribute to our social studies department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the soccer program, including player development, coaching staff management, scheduling, and game strategy. Additionally, the candidate will teach social studies to high school students, fostering a positive learning environment and encouraging student engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive training program for all levels of student-athletes.
• Manage game-day strategies and make adjustments as needed throughout the season.
• Conduct evaluations and provide feedback to players to promote skill growth.
• Collaborate with coaching staff, athletic department, and school administration to ensure program success.
• Foster positive relationships with players, parents, and the community.
• Teach social studies curriculum with a focus on student-centered learning and critical thinking.
• Support student-athletes in balancing academic responsibilities with athletics.

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Texas with a focus in social studies.
• Previous coaching experience at the high school level, preferably in soccer.
• Strong knowledge of soccer fundamentals, strategies, and player development.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• A passion for mentoring young athletes and fostering their personal and athletic growth.
