Brazoswood High School is seeking a passionate Head Softball Coach to lead and grow our highly competitive 6A program. This position is ideal for a coach who is committed to building a strong foundation rooted in fundamentals, competitive excellence, and year-round program development.
We are looking for a leader who will elevate the program through energy, visibility, and a relentless commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the Softball program (Varsity and JV)
- Develop and implement a comprehensive program philosophy focused on fundamentals, skill development, and competitive success
- Build a culture of high character, discipline, and sportsmanship
- Establish a strong presence and consistent engagement with youth programs
- Organize offseason development, strength and conditioning, and skill training opportunities
- Promote and grow participation by attracting and retaining student-athletes
- Collaborate with campus and district staff to support academic and athletic success
- Represent the program and school with professionalism and integrity at all times

Qualifications
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate (Core preferred)
- Coaching experience at the high school level preferred
- Demonstrated success in program development and culture building
- Knowledge of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules and regulations
