ASSISTANT VARSITY FOOTBALL COACH / TRACK COACH

Tarkington ISD – Tarkington, Texas

Tarkington ISD is seeking a highly motivated and relationship-driven coach to join our athletic department as an Assistant Varsity Football Coach with Track as a second sport.

We are looking for a coach who is committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the field and who will positively contribute to our athletic culture. Candidates should demonstrate a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to building relationships with athletes, parents, and the community.

Teaching Assignment

• Science Certification Required

• Teaching field: Science

Coaching Responsibilities

• Assistant Varsity Football Coach

• Track Coach (Second Sport)

• Assist with year-round athletic development, including strength and conditioning

• Support the overall vision and goals of the athletic program

• Promote character, accountability, and academic success among student-athletes

Qualifications

• Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with Science Certification

• CDL Required or willingness to obtain CDL

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively within a coaching staff

• Commitment to developing a championship culture and positive student-athlete experience
