Head Baseball Coach

• Provide leadership, vision, and direction for all levels of the baseball program, including Franklin Middle School.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive program that promotes skill development, sportsmanship, character, and academic success.
• Organize and supervise practices, games, offseason training, camps, and player development activities.
• Build strong relationships with student-athletes, parents, faculty, alumni, and community stakeholders.
• Collaborate with campus and district administration to support the overall mission of the school and athletic department.
• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches to ensure alignment with program goals and expectations.
• Maintain high standards of discipline, accountability, and sportsmanship.
• Manage program budgets, equipment, facilities, and scheduling responsibilities.
• Work closely with the booster club to enhance program support and community involvement.
• Promote and maintain a positive culture that reflects the values and traditions of Hillcrest High School.
• Ensure compliance with all district, UIL, and state athletic regulations.

Qualifications

• Valid Texas teaching certification - Cert is open, PE is available
• Previous head coaching experience at the high school level preferred.
• Demonstrated success in building and sustaining a competitive baseball program.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop student-athletes both athletically and personally.
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive, and disciplined team culture.
