Location: Mayville State University, Mayville, ND
Compensation: Hiring Range: $38,055 - $45,666, commensurate with experience

Position Information:
Mayville State University, an NAIA institution of the Frontier Conference, invites applications for the position of Assistant Softball Coach. The successful candidate will support the development of a competitive program and contribute to the overall mission of Comet Athletics.
Assist in developing a program that is competitive at the regional and national level
Manage and execute short- and long-term recruiting strategies
Promote academic progress of student-athletes by working closely with the Office of Academic Services
Serve in secondary duties as gameday management for men’s and women’s basketball
Perform other duties as assigned
Work within the HPER Division and support the University, as a team member by collaborating with faculty, staff and students on committees, program planning, assessment, academic advising, and other needs as they become known.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s degree in HPER or related field
Successful playing and/or coaching at the collegiate or high school level\Ability to work evenings, weekends and fulfill travel requirements
A valid Driver's License is required
Preferred Qualifications:
Two plus years coaching collegiately
Previous teaching experience
