Tennis Professional (Part-time)

Are you passionate about teaching tennis and creating exceptional player experiences? South Barrington Club is seeking an energetic, motivated, and engaging Tennis Professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a premier private club environment where you can build relationships with members, grow programs, and make a lasting impact on players of all ages and skill levels.

Whether you're developing a beginner's love for the game or helping competitive players reach the next level, you'll play a key role in creating a positive and dynamic tennis experience for our members.

What You'll Do

• Deliver high-quality private lessons and group clinics for juniors and adults.
• Foster a fun, welcoming, and inclusive environment on and off the court.
• Build strong relationships with members and help grow participation in tennis programs.
• Assist with leagues, tournaments, special events, and member engagement activities.
• Promote memberships, tennis programs, and pro shop merchandise.
• Maintain lesson schedules, activity reports, and program records.
• Support the overall operation and presentation of the club.
• Serve as a positive ambassador for South Barrington Club and the South Barrington Park District.

What We're Looking For

• Passion for teaching and growing the game of tennis.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Professional, reliable, and customer-focused approach.
• Experience teaching players of varying ages and skill levels.
• Current RSPA (formerly USPTA), PTR certification, or equivalent professional experience preferred.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
