Danbury ISD
Danbury ISD is a student-focused district that combines a close-knit feel with the expectations of a modern Texas education system. With a four-day school week, competitive salaries and stipends, and support for coaches who teach core subjects, the district is built for educators who want to invest in both the classroom and the athletic field. Small class sizes and strong administrative backing allow coaches to truly teach, mentor, and impact students every day.
Why it’s great to live and coach here
Coaching in Danbury means being part of a community that shows up on Friday nights, cares about its kids, and values the relationships coaches build with students and families. The four-day week creates extra time for family, faith, and recovery, while still allowing for high-level preparation and competition. For a coach who loves small-town Texas pride, wants to know every kid’s name, and values both quality of life and competitive athletics, Danbury is an ideal place to live and work.
