Assists the head coach with all aspects of the softball program including practices and conditioning, player development, recruiting, public relations, and supporting the academic development and graduation of student-athletes. Perform other duties as assigned. (There are two open positions.) Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. Four years of successful softball coaching and/or playing experience at the collegiate level. Education and experience necessary to perform all the functions of a Division I Assistant Softball Coach. Commitment to adhere to NCAA and conference rules and regulations as well as University policies and procedures. Beyond meeting minimum requirements, candidates will be evaluated in terms of how their experience and education have prepared them for Division I assistant coaching including recruiting, assisting with practice and conditioning, player and public relations, and supporting the academic development and graduation of student-athletes. Coaching philosophy must complement the philosophy of the head coach.
