Platteville, Wisconsin, The University of Wisconsin-Platteville Athletic Department, an NCAA DIII member of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (WIAC), is seeking applicants for the position of Head Baseball Coach. The Head Coach is responsible for leading, planning, and administering all phases of an NCAA Division III baseball program with the utmost integrity, while developing a successful baseball program to ensure competitive success at the conference and national levels. This position will also serve the Athletic Department with secondary duties assigned by the athletic administration. Additionally, this position is responsible for field maintenance of Kendall Murray Field.
This is a 12-month, benefit-eligible position with a salary of $48,000 to $54,000.

Hiring/supervision of assistant coach(es) Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
Minimum three (3) years of baseball coaching experience on the collegiate level or five (5) years on the high school varsity level
Organizational, written, and oral communication skills
Knowledge of computer applications for recruiting software and video breakdown
Recruiting Pioneer Champions in Academics, Athletics, Wellness, and Life
Ability to travel frequently and to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
Transferable skills, educational background, expertise
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven success as a head coach or top-level assistant at the collegiate level
Demonstrated success in recruiting talent
Fiscal responsibility in budgetary guidelines
Experience in fundraising, event planning, and camps
