Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach (Part-Time Stipend Position)

Legacy Christian Academy in Frisco, Texas is seeking a passionate, energetic, and faith-driven Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach to help support and grow our volleyball program. This is a part-time stipend position ideal for coaches who are committed to developing student-athletes both on and off the court within a Christ-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Volleyball Coach with all aspects of the varsity program
• Help plan and lead practices, training sessions, and game preparation
• Provide technical instruction and skill development for student-athletes
• Support team culture, communication, accountability, and sportsmanship
• Assist during matches, tournaments, team travel, and program events
• Encourage leadership, character development, and Christian values among athletes
• Collaborate positively with coaching staff, administration, parents, and athletes
• Help monitor athlete academic and behavioral expectations

Qualifications

• Volleyball coaching and/or playing experience preferred
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively with high school student-athletes
• Passion for mentoring young athletes in a Christian school environment
• Positive attitude, energy, and professionalism
• Must successfully complete all required background checks and school requirements

Position Details

• Seasonal commitment including summer workouts, practices, matches, and tournaments
• Compensation based on experience
