Lake Dallas ISD is seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven educator to serve as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Lake Dallas High School. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong character, a commitment to developing student-athletes, and the ability to positively contribute to a championship culture within the Falcon athletic program. Experience with Pitchers preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of the high school baseball program; especially Pitching.
- Support the Head Baseball Coach in daily operations, practice planning, player development, scouting, and game preparation
- Promote academic success, character development, discipline, and sportsmanship among student-athletes
- Build positive relationships with athletes, parents, faculty, and the community
- Assist with offseason strength and conditioning programs
- Support junior high baseball alignment and program development
- Perform teaching duties as assigned by campus administration
- Participate in athletic department responsibilities and school activities
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in Social Studies
- CDL certification or ability to obtain CDL preferred
- Previous baseball coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- Commitment to the mission and standards of Lake Dallas ISD athletics

Salary
Per Lake Dallas ISD salary schedule plus coaching stipend. Possibility for second sport for increased pay.
