Grand Oaks High School is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as Head Girls Soccer Coach and lead one of the premier athletic programs in Texas high school athletics. We are looking for an energetic, organized, and knowledgeable coach with a passion for developing young women, building a championship-caliber program, and fostering excellence both on and off the field.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of the girls soccer program, including varsity and sub-varsity levels.
• Develop and implement a clear program vision focused on competitive excellence, player development, and character growth.
• Plan and conduct practices, game preparation, tactical development, offseason training, and player evaluations.
• Foster a culture of discipline, accountability, teamwork, sportsmanship, and academic achievement.
• Develop individual players technically, tactically, physically, and mentally.
• Coordinate scheduling, travel logistics, equipment management, budgeting, and program organization.
• Build strong relationships with student-athletes, parents, booster club members, faculty, and the community.
• Collaborate with athletic department leadership and coaching staff to support overall campus and athletic goals.
• Monitor academic progress and support student-athlete success in the classroom.
• Adhere to all UIL, district, and campus policies and expectations.

Qualifications:

• Previous head coaching or significant assistant coaching experience in soccer preferred.
• Strong knowledge of soccer tactics, player development, training methodology, and program leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to build a positive, competitive, and sustainable program culture.
• Texas teaching certification required or ability to obtain certification.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to positively mentor and inspire female student-athletes.
• Commitment to educational excellence and character development.
• CDL certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
