Fayetteville, North Carolina, Methodist University, an NCAA Division III institution is accepting applications for the Head Women’s Golf coaching position. This is a full-time position. The head coach will be responsible for the complete management and organization of a competitive women’s golf program including, but not limited to, recruitment and retention of qualified student-athletes, coaching, player development, mentorship, scheduling, practice and match/tournament organization and budgeting within all University, NCAA, and USA South Conference rules, regulations, guidelines and philosophies. Bachelor’s Degree required; previous collegiate head coaching and demonstrated experience in the recruitment and retention of student-athletes at the NCAA Division III level preferred. Master’s degree in business or related field preferred.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the potential for collaborative leadership, a high degree of personal initiative, and a commitment to student engagement and belonging.
Candidates must have the ability to relate effectively to current and prospective student-athletes, exhibit strong time management and organizational skills, and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as knowledge of NCAA and USA South Conference rules and regulations.
