Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball | Mansfield Athletics

Mansfield, Pennsylvania, The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach assists in the overall organization, and administration of Mansfield University’s NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball Program. Duties may include (but are not limited to): recruiting student athletes within the rules and philosophy of the NCAA, PSAC and Mansfield; evaluating player talent – both academically and athletically; emphasizing academic priorities to student athletes; helping to organize/conduct all practices; scouting and providing appropriate strategy for competitive (game) success; related administrative tasks; assisting with fundraising initiatives; and maintaining appropriate communication with students, other coaches, university staff, parents, and alumni. Minimum Requirements Profile Previous Basketball playing or coaching experience and possession of a valid driver’s license. Certification in  CPR  and First Aid within six months of the commencement of employment and must maintain certification during employment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and previous collegiate Basketball coaching experience.
