Position Overview
Lake Dallas ISD is seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven educator to serve as an Audio/Video Production Teacher and Assistant Football Coach.
The successful candidate will teach courses in audio/video production, broadcasting, and digital media while also contributing to the football program through coaching, film breakdown, player development, and program culture.

Primary Responsibilities
Teaching Responsibilities
- Teach Audio/Video Production and/or Digital Media courses
- Instruct students in:
- Video production
- Camera operation
- Live broadcasting
- Sports media production
- Editing workflows
- Adobe Creative Cloud (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects preferred)
- Audio production and livestreaming
- Oversee student media projects and athletic broadcasts
- Build and manage a student-led sports broadcasting/media team
- Maintain media equipment and production spaces
- Collaborate with campus organizations and athletic programs on promotional content
Coaching Responsibilities
- Serve as an Middle School Boys Coach
- Assist with position coaching responsibilities assigned by the Head Coach
- Support film breakdown and Hudl operations
- Help develop off-season and in-season player development programs
- Assist with game preparation, scouting reports, and practice organization
- Promote positive culture, discipline, and leadership within the football program

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching CTE Audio/Video Production, Media, Journalism, or related courses
- Football coaching experience at the middle school, high school, or collegiate level
- Experience with:
- Hudl
- Sports broadcasting
- Livestream production
- Social media content creation
- Graphic design
- Video editing software
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to mentor students both academically and athletically
