Position: Middle School Teacher / HS/MS Girls Coach
Location: Idalou Middle School – Idalou ISD
Start Date: 2026–2027 School Year

Description:
Idalou ISD is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Girls’ Coach to join our team of educators and coaches. We are proud of our strong tradition of excellence in both academics and athletics. The ideal candidate will bring passion, leadership, and a positive presence to our girls’ athletic program.

Coaching Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• • Coaching girls' volleyball and other sports based on best fit

Assisting with athletic program development and growthPromoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and school prideCollaborating with fellow coaches and school staff for student success

Teaching Certification Requirements:
Applicants must hold a valid Texas teaching certification in one of the following areas:

• • Science

  • History

  • RLA

MathGeneralist (Grades 4–8)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience (middle school or higher)

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Committed to student-athlete development both on and off the court/field
