PENNSBURG, Pennsylvania, Position Summary: We’re looking for an energetic, motivated, and team-oriented coach to join our lacrosse and residential life community. This is an opportunity to work with high-level student-athletes, help shape a competitive prep program, and make a real impact on students both on and off the field. Ideal for someone early in their coaching career who’s passionate about mentorship, leadership, and building strong relationships within a school community. What You’ll Do •Support the coaching staff in leading an elite prep lacrosse program •Help recruit talented student-athletes who align with Perkiomen’s academic and athletic values •Break down game film, prepare scouting reports, and contribute to game strategy •Mentor student-athletes through academics, leadership development, and personal growth •Build strong relationships with recruits and families through communication, outreach, and campus visits •Foster a positive team culture centered around accountability, sportsmanship, and player well-being •Serve as a role model for high school students in both athletics and residential life Additional Responsibilities •Take on a secondary role within the athletic department based on experience, such as: oEquipment and inventory management oHome game and event operations •Serve as a student advisor for a small group of students •Collaborate with the Student Life Office to support residential and weekend programming. ( Participate in the school’s residential life program one weeknight per week and one weekend per month) What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree required Collegiate lacrosse playing experience required; coaching experience preferred Passion for mentoring and working with high school-aged students Strong communication and relationship-building skills Someone who wants to be actively involved in a close-knit boarding school community Organized, dependable, and eager to contribute beyond the field Ability to support the unique needs of residential life at a boarding school Why This Role Stands Out This position is a great fit for a recent graduate or young coach looking to gain hands-on experience in coaching, recruiting, mentorship, and school life.
