Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD is seeking a motivated and energetic Boy’s Junior High Coordinator for Blalack Middle School in Carrollton, Texas. This position includes leadership responsibilities for the boys athletic program, as well as coaching assignments in football, basketball, and track.
The ideal candidate is passionate about developing student-athletes, building relationships, and creating a positive culture centered on discipline, effort, teamwork, and character. We are seeking a leader who will positively impact the overall athletic program while helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Boy’s Junior High Athletic Program
- Coach and develop student-athletes in football, basketball, and track
- Promote discipline, accountability, sportsmanship, and teamwork
- Support and implement the overall vision and culture of the athletic program
- Build positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the community
- Encourage academic success, leadership, and character development
- Assist with practice organization, game preparation, scheduling, and athletic events
- Collaborate with campus administration and district athletic leadership
Qualifications
- Valid teaching certification or enrollment in a teacher certification program
- CDL, or ability to obtain.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with junior high student-athletes
- Commitment to developing leadership, character, and competitive excellence
- Previous coaching and leadership experience preferred
