HEAD SOFTBALL COACH (HEALTH/SPED)

Creekview High School (5A) is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Head Softball Coach to lead and oversee all aspects of the softball program (grades 9–12). This position carries full responsibility for program development, daily operations, and the continued growth of a strong, competitive, and student-centered athletic culture.

The ideal candidate is passionate about developing student-athletes and committed to excellence both on and off the field. We are seeking a leader who will continue building upon an already successful program while elevating standards in performance, character, discipline, and accountability.

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the entire softball program (9–12)
• Develop and implement a comprehensive program philosophy aligned with campus and district expectations
• Foster a positive and competitive team culture centered on discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and accountability
• Build strong relationships with student-athletes, parents, staff, and the community
• Coordinate and supervise coaching staff at all levels
• Organize and oversee practices, game preparation, offseason development, and program operations
• Promote academic success, leadership development, and character growth among student-athletes
• Collaborate with campus administration and athletic leadership to support the overall girls athletic program

Qualifications

• Valid teaching certification or enrollment in an approved teacher certification program
• Teaching fields available: SPED and Health
• Previous coaching experience required; softball coaching experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
• Commitment to developing young leaders and building a culture of excellence
• Ability to establish and sustain high standards of competitiveness, accountability, and character
