The Secondary School Athletic Trainer provides comprehensive athletic training services for student-athletes while also teaching Sports Medicine courses as part of the Career and Technical Education (CTE) or Health Science program. This position focuses on injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation while supporting the athletic program.
This person must be able to plan and implement a sound public school instructional program. Must also communicate effectively with students, coworkers and patrons. This person must keep informed of and comply with state, district, school, and UIL policies and regulations concerning primary job functions.
