Assistant Racquet Sports Professional

Shadow Valley Country Club is seeking a full-time Assistant Tennis Professional to join our growing racquets program. This position offers a base salary of $35,000, health insurance benefits, clothing allowance, full golf family membership, restaurant discount and 75% of all private and private group lesson revenue.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work one day per week in the tennis shop
• Assist with junior tennis programs
• Teach adult beginner and cardio tennis classes
• Support summer camps, Junior Night Out events, and both adult and junior tournaments
• Provide basic racquet stringing services
• (Optional) Teach introductory pickleball lessons

Additional Duties:
This role involves some physical responsibilities, including blowing and sweeping courts, moving furniture, and installing windscreens.

Qualifications:

• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willingness to work with players of all ages and skill levels
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed

Shadow Valley Country Club, located in Rogers, Arkansas, offers a variety of premier amenities for its members. The club features three indoor and four outdoor hard tennis courts, along with six outdoor pickleball courts.

We have a vibrant adult USTA team tennis program, as well as a junior tennis program serving approximately 100 participants. Throughout the year, the club hosts several tournaments and camps, further enhancing our dynamic racquet sports community.

In addition to racquet sports, Shadow Valley is home to an 18-hole golf course, an outdoor pool, a full-service bar, restaurant, and event space, a fitness center, and a child care facility open seven days a week.

As a family-friendly and community-oriented club, membership is required for all residents within the neighborhood, with options including social, racquet, or golf memberships.
