Kalamazoo, Michigan, Kalamazoo College invites applications for the position of Head Coach for Men’s Lacrosse. This is an exciting moment for a growing program that has steadily elevated its competitive and academic profile since its founding in 2016. Reporting to the Director of Athletics, the head coach leads all aspects of the men’s lacrosse program while contributing to the broader mission of the College and Athletics Department. This role offers the chance to mentor student-athletes, build meaningful relationships across campus and the community, and guide a program with strong momentum—supported by an experienced athletic training staff, strength and conditioning coaches, one part-time assistant coach, and one volunteer assistant coach. ? Apply via Indeed In this role, you will: *Lead the organization, administration, and daily operations of the men’s lacrosse program *Recruit and retain academically and athletically talented student-athletes *Manage the program’s operational budget and participate in fundraising initiatives *Coordinate game scheduling and team travel *Hire, supervise, and develop assistant coaches *Collaborate with the Sports Information Director on public relations and promotional opportunities *Ensure knowledge of and adherence to all NCAA, MIAA, and institutional rules and regulations *Teach Physical Education courses as assigned by the PE Department Chair and Provost *Provide academic advising to a select group of students *Participate in departmental and campus committees *Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics About Kalamazoo College Men’s Lacrosse Kalamazoo College is an NCAA Division III institution and a member of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA). Located in southwestern Michigan, the College is known for its rigorous academics, experiential learning, and close-knit community. The men’s lacrosse program, founded in 2016, has demonstrated consistent growth and achievement: *Qualified for the MIAA Tournament in each of the last two seasons and four of the last six *Earned USILA Academic Team recognition in four of the last five seasons (2026 TBD) *Produced USILA Scholar All-Americans in each of the past two seasons (2026 TBD) *Celebrated nine All-MIAA honorees *Recognized Jack Bungart ’26, a four-time All-MIAA honoree, for breaking the MIAA career record for caused turnovers Applicants should upload a resume and cover letter.
