Job Description

Tyler Legacy High School is seeking a highly motivated and student-centered volleyball coach. The ideal candidate will be committed to developing student-athletes both academically and athletically, while fostering a positive and disciplined environment aligned with Tyler ISD’s mission of Successful Student Outcomes.
Primary Responsibilities:
·         Teaching options are AVID, Math, or English.
·         Coach and develop players on program ideas and principles.
·         Promote character development, teamwork, accountability, and sportsmanship
·         Assist with game management supervision of student-athletes
Qualifications:
·         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
·         Valid Texas Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain)
·         Coaching experience preferred, but not required
·         Strong classroom management and communication skills
·         Commitment to building relationships with students, parents, and staff
·         Must have or be willing to obtain a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Compensation:
·         Coaching stipends included per district schedule
