Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Junior High Girls Coordinator / Assistant Girls Coach to support the development of our girls’ athletic program. This position plays a key role in mentoring student-athletes, assisting with daily practices, and helping build a positive, competitive, and character-driven team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting practices, games, and team activities
• Coordinate junior high girls’ program development to ensure alignment with high school expectations
• Teach fundamental skills, sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline
• Supervise student-athletes during practices, competitions, and travel
• Help evaluate player performance and provide constructive feedback
• Support academic accountability and personal growth of student-athletes
• Assist with equipment management, scheduling, and program organization
• Promote a positive and inclusive environment for all participants

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching or playing experience (preferred)
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with coaching staff, students, and parents
• Commitment to student-athlete development both on and off the field/court
• Certified or in a teacher certification program
• CDL or willing to obtain
