Middle School Girls Coach – Thrall ISD

Thrall ISD is seeking a dedicated and passionate Middle School Girls Coach to join our athletic program. This position plays a vital role in developing student-athletes both on and off the field by promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Coach and develop middle school girls in assigned sport(s)
• Teach fundamental skills, strategies, and rules of the game
• Foster a positive, competitive, and growth-oriented team culture
• Monitor and support student-athletes’ academic progress and character development
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff
• Assist with game preparation, scheduling, and equipment management
• Ensure compliance with district and UIL policies

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience preferred (middle school or higher)
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to motivate and build relationships with student-athletes
• Knowledge of UIL rules and regulations is a plus

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) or be willing to obtain one
• Must meet all district and state certification requirements
