Varsity Assistant Volleyball / Assistant Basketball Coach – Lebanon Trail High School (Frisco ISD)

Lebanon Trail High School is seeking a motivated, team-oriented Varsity Assistant Volleyball / Assistant Basketball Coach to support two programs and contribute to a strong, unified athletic culture. This position will work closely with head coaches to develop student-athletes and promote excellence on and off the court.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of the basketball and volleyball programs at the varsity and sub-varsity levels
• Support practice planning, game preparation, and skill development
• Help implement program vision and expectations set by the head coaches
• Build positive relationships with student-athletes while promoting accountability and team culture
• Assist with scouting, film breakdown, and opponent preparation
• Support offseason training, strength and conditioning, and program development
• Maintain compliance with all UIL, district, and campus policies
• Communicate effectively with coaches, athletes, parents, and administration

Teaching Fields Available:

• Composite Social Studies
• Composite Science
• English

Qualifications:

• Valid Texas teaching certification in one of the listed subject areas
• Coaching experience in basketball and/or volleyball preferred
• Strong work ethic, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to positively contribute to multiple programs and collaborate within a coaching staff
• Commitment to developing student-athletes both athletically and academically

Additional Requirements:

• Must be willing to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver’s License)
