Fort Bend Christian Academy is looking for a Head Girls Soccer Coach and Athletic Department Assistant who sees athletics as an opportunity to glorify God and enjoy Him by discipling players off the pitch, striving for excellence on the pitch, loving our neighbors through the game, and sending our players out as servant leaders into the world.

Head Girls Soccer Coach
Reports to: Athletic Director
Will be in 100% agreement with the Fort Bend Christian Academy’s purpose and mission, Statement on Marriage, Gender, and Sexuality, and the school's Doctrinal Statement.
Shall be one who follows Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and can articulate the Gospel and their testimony in any situation.
Has a strong history of active participation in a church with doctrine and beliefs aligned with the school’s statements.
Will provide examples of systematically using the game of soccer to disciple young people and point to former players currently doing the same (Proverbs 22:6).
Has proven success as a Head Coach or coordinator at the varsity level in a private school or UIL 3A level and above.
Shall be a college graduate passionate about the school’s mission and good stewardship of their gifts and talents.
Systematically create opportunities to share the Gospel and grow disciples through the game of soccer (Matthew 4:19).
Coach in a way that gives glory to God through the game of soccer (Colossians 3:23).
Serve as a Christian role model in attitude, speech, and actions.
Create opportunities to use the game of soccer as a vehicle to love our neighbors (Mark 12:31).
Responsible for administrative issues and schedules for assigned programs (e.g., MS/US Cheer, Dance, Girls Basketball, Girls Soccer, and Softball).
Point of contact for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and responsible for developing the student leadership team.
Liaison between the Athletic Department and Communications/Marketing for social media and technology projects.
Liaison between the Athletic Department and the FBCA Athletic Booster Club.
Assist with the management of all TAPPS competitive activities at the home campus and hosted tournaments.
Coordinate the daily Administrator on Duty schedule and Field House Opening/Closing schedule.
Assist the business and operations director in budget planning for Upper and Middle School athletics.
Coordinate college recruiting for all sports by working with college counseling to prepare student-athletes.
Evaluate Athletic Department staff as assigned by the Executive Director of Athletics.
Assistant Stadium Coordinator for all Eagle Stadium events.
Coordinate individual sports policies and schedules for assigned programs.
Coordinate FBCA security procedures for all sports under your supervision.
Assist with FBCA Athletic Department master athletic scheduling.
Assist as directed with playoff arrangements.
Assist with campus hiring procedures throughout the FBCA Athletic Department.
Conduct TAPPS compliance meetings/EOS for assigned programs.
Facilitate new coach training.
Approve all officials/game worker pay forms for assigned programs.
Oversee scheduling of Summer Strength and Conditioning programs.
Review previous Athletic Participation forms.
Manage the business and financial operations for the FBCA Athletic Department.
Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
Set up a systematic plan for using the game of soccer to disciple athletes daily.
Oversee the entire Upper School and Middle School soccer program, including promotion, practice/game schedules, and student eligibility.
Oversee the cleaning, repair, and secure storage of soccer equipment and uniforms.
Ensure compliance with all TAPPS regulations.
Implement preseason, in-season, postseason, and offseason plans, including summer camps.
Manage administrative duties such as selecting officials and scheduling sub-varsity games.
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods in an outdoor environment.
Ability to bend, stoop, walk, and frequently lift/move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
This is an exempt, twelve-month, full-time assignment eligible for benefits.
