Location: Waller High School - 6A - 15 miles west of Cypress, Tx.

Position Type: Full-Time (Teaching Assignment TBD- No PE or Health)
Waller High School is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head Coach to build upon the success of our athletic program. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to competitive excellence, student-athlete development, and community engagement while aligning fully with our athletic pillars: Work Ethic, Citizenship, Character, and Commitment.
This position requires a leader who is passionate about developing young people, strengthening program alignment from middle school through high school, and building a positive, unified school culture.
Program Leadership & Growth
Build upon the current success and tradition of the program.
Develop and implement a long-term strategic vision focused on sustained competitive growth.
Oversee all aspects of the program, including offseason development, skill progression, and leadership training.
Create measurable goals for continuous improvement at all levels.
Middle School Alignment
Establish and maintain strong collaboration with middle school coaches.
Implement vertical alignment in terminology, schemes, expectations, and athlete development.
Develop youth outreach initiatives to strengthen feeder patterns and early skill development.

Recruit, develop, and evaluate assistant coaches.

Valid Texas teaching and coaching certifications.
Demonstrated experience in building or sustaining successful athletic programs.
Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Proven ability to connect with student-athletes and families.
Commitment to character-based coaching and whole-student development.
Experience with program-building and long-term athletic development models.
Demonstrated success in community engagement and stakeholder communication.
Strong understanding of vertical program alignment (middle school to high school).
