Nocona ISD has FOUR DAY WORK WEEKS.  TEACHERS and students are both off on Fridays.  (164 Contract Days)

Nocona is a great community located on Highway 82 in between Gainesville and Wichita Falls. Nocona ISD is at the top end of 2A enrollment and finished in the top 25 in the Lone Star Cup Standings last year.

Nocona ISD has also been approved to receive the Teacher Incentive Allotments. Most of the teachers in our district have been receiving an additional teaching stipend of $7000, $12,000 or $20,000.  (You will receive a check for your lump sum on the last day of school after your second year)

Stipends are competitive plus 10 extra days.

Nocona ISD contributes $225 towards insurance.

Must have or be willing to obtain a CDL.

Nocona ISD is seeking someone for the position of Offensive Coordinator / 2 Other Sports TBD. Looking for someone to come in and run their offense. We are returning 9 out of 11  starters on offense next year. Right now the teaching field is open, we are a DOI. We are looking for someone who is loyal, hard-working, energetic and who is willing to do what it takes to continually improve all of our extracurricular activities. We believe in multi-sport athletes and all coaches must work cohesively in sharing athletes.
