Elgin ISD

The Elgin Independent School District is located approximately 22 miles east of Austin on HWY 290. Elgin iSD comprises more than 168 square miles in portions of Bastrop, Lee, and Travis counties, serving over 6,000 students. We currently have one middle school and one 5A high school, with a second middle school set to open in 2027.  EISD is considered a rapid growth district and has successfully passed bonds, including athletic improvements, in 2020 and 2024.

Elgin High School is looking to hire an energetic and knowledgeable Head Softball Coach to join our team.  Second sport optional.  Three to five years of high school and/or college softball experience preferred. Elgin ISD has committed to supporting our athletic programs with a brand new indoor facility, as well as brand new turfed fields for baseball and softball.   Teaching field is open, no PE.  CDL or ability to obtain CDL preferred.
