The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the game and a solid basketball foundation, with the ability to teach fundamentals and support program development. This coach must be committed to motivating, mentoring, and building relationships with all athletes while promoting a positive team culture. Responsibilities include assisting with practices, game preparation, skill development, and supporting the head coach in all aspects of the program. Forney HS Football is looking to add an offensive skill position coach (WRs, RBs, or TEs) to our coaching staff. We have been to the playoffs in 5 consecutive years including a state semifinal run in 2023. FISD Salary is highly competitive and can be found on the website. Stipends for football and 2nd sport are also highly competitive. 2nd sport could be track, baseball, or wrestling.
