North Lamar ISD is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Athletic Trainer to provide comprehensive care for student-athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation. The Athletic Trainer will work closely with coaches, school administrators, and healthcare professionals to ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes.
Key Responsibilities:
Injury Prevention & Care:
Develop and implement injury prevention programs for student-athletes.
Provide first aid, emergency care, and injury assessment during practices and games.
Design and oversee rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with coaches to educate on injury prevention techniques and conditioning programs.
Communicate with parents, physicians, and school staff regarding injury status and treatment plans.
Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation progress.
