Defensive Coordinator – Ferris ISD
Ferris ISD is seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Defensive Coordinator to join our athletic program. We are looking for a coach who brings energy, strong leadership, and the ability to build positive relationships with student-athletes and staff.
Position Responsibilities:
Oversee and implement the defensive program from Junior High through High School
Develop and maintain a cohesive defensive system across all levels
Mentor and collaborate with coaching staff
Foster a positive, disciplined, and competitive team culture
Qualifications:
Experience as a Defensive Coordinator or defensive position coach preferred
Strong knowledge of defensive schemes and player development
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Location: Ferris ISD is located approximately 20 minutes south of the DFW Metroplex in a rapidly growing community.
