We are seeking a passionate, organized, and student-centered leader to serve as our Girls Coordinator / Head Volleyball Coach. This position is responsible for leading and developing a competitive Girls and volleyball program 7th grade through Varsity while supporting the overall growth, character, and academic success of student-athletes. Must be able to c ommunicate effectively with coaches, players, parents, staff, and administration. Teaching field is open; there will be a second sport. CDL or willingness to obtain. BASIC FUNCTION To oversee and manage the Veritas Academy sports team for the duration of the season, with responsibilities including all facets of coaching, communicating with parents, scheduling practices, attending games and providing mentorship to student athletes. Duties & Responsibilities Organize and hold preseason communication meetings with players and parents, including “Meet the Coach” night prior to the start of the season. Work with the Athletics Director and athletic staff to coordinate the schedule of all games, practices and related activities. Show total commitment during the season, including being at practice and games early, staying until all players have left, and never missing a practice. Proactively continue to develop his/her craft by attending conferences/workshops and staying current on all groundbreaking techniques and skills.
