Jordan High School is seeking a certified teacher to serve as an Assistant Swim Coach. This full‑time position supports the development of a competitive, disciplined, and team‑oriented swim program competing in Katy ISD 6A.
Responsibilities
Assist with planning and conducting swim practices, meets, and athlete development
Support academic monitoring and eligibility requirements
Help coordinate meet preparation, entries, and travel logistics
Contribute to offseason conditioning and skill development
Communicate effectively with athletes, families, and staff
Teach a core academic subject as part of the full‑time role
Qualifications
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in a core subject
Coaching or competitive swimming experience preferred
Strong knowledge of stroke technique, training plans, and meet operations
Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
