Sport: Level Softball: JV/Varsity Description Currently 1 opening, TBD on whether it is a Varsity Assistant or a JV Coach Opening. Salary - depends on experience Stipend- JV$3,250 or VA $4,500 2nd sport: Yes for JV coach / None for Varsity Assistant Responsibilities Responsible for supporting the Head Coach in the supervision and development of the program. Duties include, but are not limited to: Assisting with planning and running game and practice sessions. Supporting the weekly monitoring of student-athletes and academic progress. CDL certifcaiton to drive a school bus. Assisting with community events and special nights. Carrying out assignments and tasks as directed by the Head Coach or Athletic Director.

Somerville High School is looking for a high energy, enthusiastic coach to help grow Yegua Athletics while serving as a Female Assistant Coach for 2 sports (Possibly Head Tennis). In search of a Head Girls Basketball Coach who will manage and implement all aspects of the girls basketball program in grades 7-12.  The girls are back-to-back Regional Finalists with a majority of the team returning.  Will also be Assistant Volleyball.  Third sport could be discussed when interviewing. Teaching fields possible are 7-12 Math, Elementary P.E., or Secondary Health/PE. Must have a valid Texas Teaching Certificate or be in an Alternative Certification Program.  We are a District of Innovation so we have some options to work with you on the teaching field.  Must also have a CDL or the ability to obtain as soon as possible.
