South Garland High School is seeking an Assistant Volleyball/Assistant Softball coach for the 2026–2027 school year. Responsibilities include coaching, teaching, collaborating with staff, and fostering a positive learning environment Must be CDL certified or be willing to obtain within first year of employment. In search of a Head Girls Basketball Coach who will manage and implement all aspects of the girls basketball program in grades 7-12.  The girls are back-to-back Regional Finalists with a majority of the team returning.  Will also be Assistant Volleyball.  Third sport could be discussed when interviewing. Teaching fields possible are 7-12 Math, Elementary P.E., or Secondary Health/PE. Must have a valid Texas Teaching Certificate or be in an Alternative Certification Program.  We are a District of Innovation so we have some options to work with you on the teaching field.  Must also have a CDL or the ability to obtain as soon as possible. We are looking for a Girls Assistant coach.  All Coaching fields are a possibility and open for discussion to make sure we are setting both the athletes and the coach up for success.   We are a 4 day work week district and looking for the following certifications: High School History High School Science High School Math JH Social Studies JH College and Career (possibly)
