Jordan High School is seeking a certified teacher to serve as an Assistant Girls Basketball Coach. This full‑time position supports the development of a competitive and high‑character program competing in Katy ISD 6A District 19 .
Responsibilities
Assist with planning and running practices, games, and player development
Support academic monitoring and uphold eligibility standards
Contribute to scouting, film study, and game preparation
Help lead offseason strength and conditioning
Maintain strong communication with athletes, families, and staff
Teach a core academic subject as part of the full‑time role
Qualifications
Valid Texas Teaching Certificate in a core subject
Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and team culture
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
