Coaching Position is for Head Girls Basketball, possibility for Girls Coordinator. Head Girls Cross Country and Assistant Track are currently tied with the spot. Teaching Field is PE We are a TIA district Must have CDL or ability to obtain by end of the year 4 Day work week (off Fridays) Competitive salary and coaching stipends. Alba Golden ISD is in search for a head girls basketball coach who will lead our program to the next level. We are located on highway 69 between Mineola and Emory. Our girls program has a rich tradition with basketball success as well as overall program success. We are looking for a coach who is going to : Invest from the youth on up to build the program from top to bottom. Lead with high standards and build strong players moral. Want to grow the athletes on the court , in the classroom, and in the weightroom. Pursue excellence while working alongside a coaching staff with the same energy. Love and passion for basketball but also for building champions. Our girls team will return 9 of our 10 players from this year with all of them being juniors next year. We have kids who will work and they demand more from themselves than most.  We move from 2A district of doom to a new district full of promise and ability to compete for a district championship now. 

This position is open for JH or HS with flexibility as to coaching assignment (male or female / multiple sports). Teaching field is open as of this posting. College graduate & Texas Teaching Certification required. CDL & CPR certification will be a requirement & BISD can help in attaining both.
