Direct and manage district’s athletic program and facilities and instruct and coach students to develop skills and abilities to excel in athletics. Provide each student with the opportunity to participate in an extracurricular athletic activity and ensure compliance with all federal, state, University Interscholastic League (UIL), and local requirements.

Colmesneil ISD is seeking a dynamic Athletic Director / Head Football Coach to lead and grow a competitive Bulldog athletic program. Responsibilities include overseeing all district athletic programs while serving as the head varsity football coach. The successful candidate will build a strong athletic culture, ensure UIL compliance, supervise coaching staff, and develop student-athletes both academically and athletically. Qualifications Valid Texas Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain) Strong leadership and organizational skills Knowledge of UIL rules and regulations Prior head coaching and/or athletic administration experience preferred 3 years successful coaching experience Teaching field: Based on district needs.
