Position: Assistant Football/Possible ST Coordinator or DC
District: McCamey ISD – UIL 2A
Location: McCamey, Texas (45 minutes south of Odessa, 45 minutes east of Fort Stockton)

Teaching Field- Open (No PE)
Primary Purpose
Lead and develop competitive student-athletes in our program, which emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, academic success, and multi-sport participation. Work within our system to prepare athletes for how to compete and win.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership and vision for all programs (JH through Varsity).
Coach every rep every day.
Help maintain a vertically aligned program, including youth/JH development and offseason training.
Build relationships with athletes and provide mentorship to them.
Support and encourage multi-sport participation; collaborate with other coaches on scheduling and strength & conditioning.
Promote academic accountability, character development, and community involvement.
Communicate clearly with athletes, parents, staff, and administration.
Ensure compliance with all UIL, district, and campus policies.
Qualifications
Valid Texas teaching certification or currently enrolled in an alternative certification program.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Willingness to work the hours and travel demands of a small Texas ISD.
CDL or willingness to obtain.
