Girls Coach / Social Studies Teacher

Position Summary: Bee Cave Middle School is seeking a dedicated Teacher / Coach to join our middle school staff. The successful candidate will also serve as a certified classroom teacher in Lake Travis ISD.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and implementing age-appropriate game plans and weekly preparation for middle school athletic programs.
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of fundamental skills, techniques, and teaching methods suitable for middle school student-athletes.
- Coach assigned position or skill groups with emphasis on proper technique, fundamentals, footwork, stance, and safe participation habits.
- Teach basic strategies, help identify opponent tendencies at the middle school level, and support simple in-game adjustments.
- Recruit and develop student-athletes by encouraging broad participation, promoting academic success, building character, sportsmanship, and a lifelong love for physical activity.
- Support the head coach and program coordinator in all aspects of the athletic program, including summer conditioning, camps, team activities, and community engagement.
- Serve as a full-time classroom teacher, maintaining high academic and behavioral standards while fulfilling all professional duties required by Lake Travis ISD.
- Foster a positive team culture aligned with Lake Travis ISD values: integrity, effort, toughness, and excellence.
