Job Description

Smithfield, Rhode Island, The Athletics Department at Bryant University invites applications for the 2-year, Graduate Assistant position of Compliance Coordinator. Bryant University is an NCAA Division I program, sponsoring 25 varsity sports, and is a member of the America East Conference as well as an associate member of the CAA, Southland and East Coast Conferences. This position reports to the Associate Athletic Director. This position requires occasional availability on nights and weekends. GA compensation includes a full tuition waiver, housing, and a $1,500.00 stipend in Spring and Fall semesters starting August 1. Graduate School is a 2?year part?time program beginning August 2026 through August 2028. The Graduate Assistant for Compliance will be expected to exhibit high integrity, confidentiality, and ethical behavior in accordance with NCAA, Conference and Institutional rules. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to coordinate National Letter of Intent program, participate in monthly compliance conference calls, review and monitor weekly CARA hours, assist in creating rules education materials, approve unofficial and official visits, review and troubleshoot initial eligibility, audit recruiting phone calls, approve camps and clinics, assist with administrative work (e.g. filing, writing meeting minutes), and other duties as assigned. Requires an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution and acceptance into Bryant University Graduate School (acceptance must be confirmed before candidate will be considered). Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of  NCAA  rules and regulations; previous  NCAA  compliance/student services experience; demonstrated proficiency with  NCAA  databases and recruiting software. Exposure to intercollegiate athletics, strong interpersonal skills, excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills required.
