Job Title: Tyler ISD Golf Coordinator

Position Summary: Tyler Independent School District is seeking a highly motivated and organized Golf Coordinator to oversee and grow the district’s comprehensive golf program. This position will coordinate golf programming for Tyler ISD high schools and middle schools, serve as Head Boys Golf Coach at Tyler Legacy High School, and play a key role in expanding golf opportunities at the 
middle and elementary levels. The Golf Coordinator will also assist the Director of Athletics with district-wide duties during the fall and spring seasons.

Primary Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Coordinate golf schedules for all Tyler ISD high schools and middle schools utilizing the Tyler ISD Golf Facility
• Meet regularly with campus golf coaches to plan and align:
o Tournament schedules
o Practice schedules
o Strength & conditioning programs in collaboration with each high school’s Strength & Conditioning Coach
• Serve as Head Boys Golf Coach for the Tyler Legacy High School Golf Team
• Assist the Director of Athletics with assigned duties during the fall and spring seasons when not engaged in 
tournaments or practices
• Develop and launch a middle school golf program within Tyler ISD
• Create opportunities to engage elementary students through:
o Summer golf camps
o Introductory golf experiences at the Tyler ISD Golf Facility
• Promote program growth, participation, and alignment across all levels (elementary, middle school, and high school)
• Ensure effective communication, organization, and supervision across all golf-related activities
Qualifications (Preferred):
• Previous experience coaching golf at the high school or collegiate level
• Comprehensive knowledge of USGA golf rules and UIL guidelines
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience coordinating athletic schedules and multi-campus programs
• Ability to collaborate effectively with coaches, administrators, and athletic staff

Salary: Salary will be based on years of experience and in accordance with Tyler ISD compensation guidelines.
