Head Volleyball (Possible Girls Coordinator)

Looking for a high-energy, passionate coach dedicated to teaching the game and building a strong TEAM culture.  This position will also include additional coaching duties based on program needs and best fit, with the potential for the right candidate to server as the girls coordinator.  The teaching field is open. Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee and direct all aspects of the volleyball program (7–12)
• Develop and implement a year-round program including in-season, off-season, and summer training
• Plan and execute daily practices, game strategies, and skill development
• Establish and maintain program standards for discipline, accountability, and effort
• Evaluate and develop athletes at all levels within the program

Program Leadership:

• Build a consistent system and culture from junior high through varsity
• Supervise and mentor assistant coaches
• Collaborate with strength and conditioning staff to enhance athlete performance
• Organize camps, clinics, and offseason opportunities to grow the program
• Promote and grow participation within the volleyball program

Administrative Duties:

• Manage scheduling, travel, equipment, and budget needs
• Coordinate game-day operations and communication with officials and opposing schools
• Maintain accurate records, inventory, and program documentation
• Ensure compliance with UIL, district, and school policies

Student-Athlete Development:

• Emphasize character, leadership, academics, and sportsmanship
• Build positive relationships with student-athletes, parents, staff, and the community
• Monitor academic progress and support student success in the classroom

Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certificate (or ability to obtain)
• Prior coaching experience, preferably at the high school level
• Strong knowledge of volleyball fundamentals, systems, and program development
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
