Welcome to De Leon ISD where teachers, students, and staff are committed to “Lead the Way” in achieving Excellence.  We are dedicated to providing a safe learning environment that encourages and challenges every student to reach for success.  Our students’ achievements are the result of our parents, teachers, community members and staff working together, and we are blessed to have a supportive School Board that provides leadership and support enabling us to serve all children in a caring and safe environment.

De Leon ISD maintains an “A” rating from the Texas Education Agency and our scores exceed those of the Region and State across all subjects.  Our District and our elementary school were both recently named to the Texas Honor Roll by Educational Partnerships and our high school has been nominated as a National Blue Ribbon campus.  Our teachers and staff continue to strive to maintain our excellent ratings.  We are able to place a computer in the hands of each of our students, and our teachers are adept in the use of technology as they incorporate resources into plans that enrich the learning experience and challenge students to expand their knowledge base.
