Cypress Creek High School is seeking a high-quality coaching professional to serve as the Varsity Offensive Line Coach, with a second sport assignment.

Cypress Creek Football operates under the Grow Champs philosophy — developing student-athletes through discipline, accountability, and high standards in the classroom, community, and competition.

We are seeking coaches who are committed to teaching, developing relationships, and upholding a championship-level standard in all areas of the program.

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Position: Varsity Offensive Line Coach

  • Additional Assignment: Second sport (based on experience and program needs)

This role requires a coach who can teach fundamentals, develop physicality, build toughness, and lead a position group with clarity and consistency.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Valid Texas Teacher Certification

  • Teaching Field(s):

    • IPC

    • Biology

    • Math

    • SPED

    • CTE

    • (No Health or PE positions available)

  • Bus Certification (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements

    • Required or willingness to obtain

    • Must be able to pass DOT physical, alcohol, and drug testing

SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

  • Strong knowledge of coaching techniques, fundamentals, and player development

  • Understanding of University Interscholastic League (UIL) rules and compliance

  • Ability to instruct, motivate, and supervise student-athletes

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to operate Above The Line and model professional standards daily

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Instruct and supervise student-athletes in assigned sport(s)

  • Develop and lead the offensive line unit with clear teaching progression and accountability

  • Support the academic, athletic, and personal development of student-athletes

  • Uphold and model program standards in behavior, effort, and discipline

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with athletes, staff, parents, and community

  • Comply with all campus, district, and UIL policies and procedures

  • Engage in staff collaboration, professional development, and program alignment to ensure consistency across the program

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Probationary/Term Contract: 187 days
