Assistant Football Coach / Assistant Softball Coach
Allen High School – Allen ISD

Allen HS is seeking high-energy assistants to support our football and softball programs while serving as full-time classroom teachers.

Responsibilities (Both Roles)

• Teach and model Allen ISD athletic standards and core values
• Plan and run position-specific drills and skill development
• Assist with practice planning, game prep, and in-game adjustments
• Support strength & conditioning and offseason development
• Monitor academics, eligibility, and behavior; communicate with parents/teachers
• Help manage equipment, facilities, and travel; ensure safety and UIL compliance

Football Focus

• Coach will be assigned a position group
• Contribute to film breakdown, scouting reports, and game plans

Softball Focus

• Coach assigned defensive position group and support offensive work
• Assist with field prep, charting, and game management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and valid Texas teaching certificate in Science, Social Studies or English
• Previous HS/college playing or coaching experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and relational skills
• CDL or willingness to obtain preferred
