Boone, North Carolina, Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- (50%) Serve as primary liaison to a specific set of sports and subdivisions of the Athletics Department as assigned by the Senior Director of Athletics Compliance. Such liaison responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide NCAA, Sun Belt (or applicable) Conference, and App State legislative interpretations and rules education.
- Monitor team personnel, playing and practice season, awards, and recruiting activities.
Assist with investigating and self-reporting NCAA rules violations.
Draft legislative waivers as needed.
- (20%) Under the supervision of the senior compliance administrator, serve as the primary facilitator of App State’s Name, Image, and Likeness compliance initiatives (e.g. rules education, disclosure, policy development).
- (10%) Serve as the primary facilitator of App State’s Advisor Registration program.
- (10%) Assist in the development and maintenance of the Athletic Compliance website and social media efforts.
- (5%) Participate in the design and substance of the University’s Athletic Compliance program.
- (5%) Any other duties as assigned by the Senior Director of Athletics Compliance.
